The very first Coton Institute football team took to the field in the 1908/9 season - which meant that 2008/9 marked 100 years of football at Coton! To commemorate our Centenary we invited everyone who has ever had an association with the Club - all our members, senior and junior, current and retired, parents and children - to help us to celebrate our special club and all things Coton FC. We had a great day, the current first team managed to squeak past the Legends by (ahem) a few goals, while the Lads and Lasses of our juniors sides finally defeated their Mums and Dads after an epic penalty shoot out. In the evening, we had presentations from the FA and Sunday League, and parties for everyone that went well into the small hours. A few pictures are below. Thanks to everyone who helped out. Here's to another 100! Coton FC 2009 v Coton FC Legends
